Youth Development and Intervention Framework (YDIF)
One of CLAP’s key objectives is to build an effective and holistic career and life planning (CLP) intervention model that is applicable to youth of all kinds in Hong Kong.
CLAP adopts a “one paradigm, multiple strategies” approach of which the outcome would rely on the coherence amongst different strategies. After several sustainable literature reviews and discussion among career and life planning experts and practitioners, a unique intervention model, named “Youth Development and Intervention Framework” was developed.
The Youth Development and Intervention Framework serves as a meta-conceptual framework to guide career and life planning interventions in schools and community. It also serves as a guide for setting focus and content for the training of career and life planning professionals. Tools, resources and curriculum development can also make reference to the Framework as well as evaluation and research related .
